ARTfarm Mango season is winding down, but volunteering is starting back up! Christof may be back with more fresh fish, as well. Come and see us on Saturday at 11am! List below:

  • Valencia Pride mangoes (popular variety with an elongated shape and bright flavor)
  • Viequen Butterball mangoes
  • Haitian kidney mangoes
  • Mallika mango (tastes like a super sweet and creamy orange, one of Luca’s favorites)
  • Alphonso mangoes (popular Indian variety)
  • Carrie mangoes (too delicate for stores)
  • Turmeric

Beautiful sweet summer lettuces coming up in August 2025 at ARTfarm

There is a ”Heart Of The Block” sunset memorial and free music concert fundraiser happening on Saturday August 9th at 5pm in Christiansted near the boardwalk in memory of local performing artist/comedian Jordan “Dutty Heart” Jones and others who have been lost to gun violence. VIP ticket sales proceeds will benefit CMCArts.

ARTfarm has summer salad greens, dragonfruit, PLUS a curated selection of delicious not-so-stringy grafted mangoes for you to try. AND THERE WILL BE SAMPLES!!!

ARTfarm Open 7/2/2025 Wednesday 5 to 6 PM, sweet summer fruitiness!

Farmer Luca will be open 5 to 6 pm Wednesday at the farm with sweet stuff… Sweet mangoes, sweet salad mix for earlybirdies, peppers, radishes and herbs. Enjoy!

End of June/early July: Nam doc mai mangoes are ripe and ready. Butterballs and pink pomegranates are also ripening.

We named this mango the ‘Viequen Butterball’ for its size, sweet mellowness and lack of fiber. Tita would bring us these mangoes.

ARTfarm sweet lettuce mix contains six to eight varieties of green and red leaf lettuces. Biodiversity helps prevent crop failure and gives us different micronutrients for good health! Mix it up!
