ARTfarm is open today 10am-12 noon with beautiful sweet salad mix, spicy salad mix, lettuce heads, escarole, lots of kale, collard greens, broccoli greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, beets, onions, limes, passionfruit, cucumbers, radishes, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, garlic chives, dill, parsley, rosemary, sage, Italian basil, Thai basil, lemon basil, lemon balm, fresh Mediterranean figs, honey, and vegan coconut-based ice cream. All a di gal dem. Whine up, whine up!

ARTfarm “Everything” Saturday Stand!

Open this morning from 10am-12 noon! According to Farmer Luca, we have “everything” this morning. Or nearly everything… that we grow. Many different varieties of: salad mixes, fresh herbs, cooking greens, onions and beets, cucumbers, flowers, local honey… fresh FIGS… and of course, lots and lots of TOMATOES! Come and wallow in the plenty at the ARTfarm stand this morning, and also enjoy the artworks of Davina Pallone in our ARTbarn on your way in or out! Hooray, it’s been raining!!

We are talking about Ficus carica, Mediterranean figs, tender, sweet and juicy, pearshaped and pink as a kitten’s nose inside, harvested by starlight! In at least five varieties for you to develop your fig preferences! Good morning! Fresh figs! FRESH FIGS! In giftable little origami baskets!

Also – microgreens, arugula, sweet mix, spicy mix, lettuce heads, dandelion greens, escarole, endive, sweet bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, large heirloom tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, cucumbers, Bodhi beans, radishes, beets, onions, a few avocados, Thai, Italian and lemon basils, dill, cilantro, recao, garlic chives, sage, thyme, lemongrass, chili peppers, lemon balm, holy basil, zinnia flowers.

Fruity Saturday at ARTfarm

It’s officially mango season!! Today’s stand starts with a mélange of sweet and juicy local fruit: bananas from Reuben Liburd, Haitian kidney and Nam Duc Mai mangoes from Alex Ettienne, ARTfarm pineapples & papaya!! Microgreens, Kan-Kong (Asian spinach), sweet peppers, hot peppers, cherry tomatoes, pumpkin, beets, scallions, bok choi, Bodhi yard-long beans, garlic chives; italian, lemon, thai and holy basil;  lemongrass, zinnia flowers; native trees, and pineapple slips.

10am – 12 noon every Saturday. We are discontinuing Monday farmstands until next year. Wednesday hours are now 3-6pm! Thanks for your support.
