We will be open on Saturday 10am – 12 noon at our stand for those of you who can’t make it to the Ag Fair to shop, but we strongly suggest you make it over there this weekend to support local farmers and enjoy the festivities, as our family always does!

At ARTfarm this afternoon, we’ve got microgreens, spicy salad mix, beautiful fresh-cut flowers, lots of heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes in many colors and flavors, red slicing tomatoes, cucumbers,  kale, broccoli leaves, beets, Chinese cabbage, cabbage heads, red mustard, Italian basil, holy basil, lemon basil, onions, garlic chives, cilantro, parsley, sage, thyme, sweet bell peppers, hot peppers, papayas, pumpkin, lemongrass, and fennel!

Today’s stand we have fresh cut flowers, a rainbow of tomatoes in all shapes and sizes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, hot peppers, sweet salad mix, teen arugula, a 34 pound pumpkin, purple long beans, Chinese cabbage, sage, thyme, lemon balm, lemongrass, and papayas. See you at 3pm!

And YES, we will be open this Saturday, 10am to 12 noon at our farmstand on South Shore Road!

ARTfarm Saturday Tomato Attack Continued! 10am This Morning!

Today we’ve got the usual INSANE rainbow assortment of gorgeous, sweet, vine-ripened tomatoes from the gargantuan ‘puppy-sized’ heirloom down to the diminuitive cherry; sunflowers and zinnias for sale, along with cucumbers, sweet peppers, hot peppers, spicy salad mix, pumpkin, purple long beans, cooking greens, and lots of fresh herbs for salads, cooking and bush tea; and probably a few other things I forgot to mention. Broccoli, arugula and sweet mix, and papayas, will be available in short supply today.

Wednesday ARTfarm stand – onions and pumpkin! 3pm!

Today we are cutting into a 32lb. PUMPKIN! We have beautiful organically grown ONIONS for your soup! Also gazillions of tomatoes (slicers, heirlooms and cherries), cucumbers, arugula, sweet bell peppers, purple long beans, fennel, kale, collards, broccoli leaves, chinese cabbage, endive, escarole, dandelion greens, scallions, cayenne peppers, garlic chives, cilantro, parsley, sage, dill, Italian basil, lemon basil, Thai basil, holy basil, lemongrass. Supply on salad greens is very low this week but will recover shortly. Fresh cut zinnias and sunflowers, and charming little edible flowers for your valentine treat!

Someone posted on Facebook that they love to roll up our giant broccoli leaves and slice them thin like spaghetti before sautéing. Sounds yummy to us!
