ARTfarm Saturday popup 6/1/24, 11 – 11:30am

Strawberry flavor?
Like strawberry bubble gum?
Sweet. Tiny. Juicy.

The tiny sweet round fruit of the Strawberry Fruit tree has a bit of a fresh fig texture but a sweet, slightly crunchy strawberry-like flavor!

This week’s pop-up farmstand on Saturday is fruity again with pineapple, mango, dragonfruit, strawberry fruit, soursop and more! Some salad greens for the early birds. Plus cooling cucumbers (delicious added to smoothies!), plenty of fresh herbs and fresh ginger. We’ve said it before: don’t forget the basil and lemongrass – make a big concentrated pan of bush tea to keep a giant pitcher in the fridge for hot day refreshers. Sorry, but no reserving stuff; first come, first served.

ARTfarm Saturday popup 5/25/24, 11am – 11:30a

Steamy hot summer?
Humidity through the roof?
Eat refreshing fruits.

A beautiful haul of fresh ARTfarm pineapples. These Sugarloaf variety fruits are very sweet, not highly acidic, and have a tender, edible core.

No salad mix tomorrow but this week’s pop-up farmstand on Saturday has the first of the summer fruit – make a refreshing fruit salad, an icy blended drink, or just enjoy straight out of the icebox. Pineapple, watermelon and more! And if you’ve caught the little cold going around, beautiful veggies to make a healing and hydrating soup. Don’t forget the basil and lemongrass – make a big concentrated pan of bush tea and then keep a giant pitcher in the fridge for hot day refreshers. Dragonfruit are setting, not quite ready. First come, first served.
