Saturday, January 4th farmstand 2020. Open at 10 AM until 12 noon! Come down the South Shore and enjoy all the explosive green growth that these odd December rains have produced! After a rainy wet morning’s greens harvest, we are out here on a beautiful Friday afternoon picking tomatoes to a soundtrack of Donna Summer’s weird 80s disco tracks!
Saturday’s haul: loads of beautiful sweet salad mix, lots of baby spicy salad mix and baby arugula, loads of our Japanese cucumbers and other varieties, lots of heirloom tomatoes and slicer tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, kale, baby bok choy, dandelion greens, Ethiopian kale, Italian basil, lemon basil, Thai basil, holy basil, cilantro, dill, mint, garlic chives, assorted red and green chile peppers, young carrots, radishes, baby turmeric, baby mango turmeric and baby ginger, super bright happy zinnias.
We will also have Fiddlewood Farm’s goat cheese, and various veggies from Bob Boyan‘s garden here at the ARTfarm, includingcucumbers, green and yellow zucchini, green beans, tatsoi, cucumbers, kale and collards.
Early bird specials: fresh Mediterranean figs and yellow watermelon!
We will still have plenty of salad greens, heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers all the way till 12pm so show up late if you can’t make it for the 9:45am communal gathering at the gate.
Love, ARTfarm
