  • Mallika mango (tastes like a super sweet and creamy orange, one of Luca’s favorites)

ARTfarmMangosSaturday AM: 30 min. Ministand… 7/19/2025, 11am – 11:30am

The mango is a fruit that cannot be truly sampled outside of the tropical places where it grows. They can’t really travel. The many times we’ve tried eating them in the states, even from the most hoity-toity of supermarkets, it is just not the same experience whatsoever. A fresh mango is perfumy, succulent, intensely sweet, and highly diverse.

ARTfarm has a curated selection of delicious not-so-stringy grafted mangoes for you to try.

There are so many mango varieties. Textures, colors, smells and flavors.

ARTfarm Open today 5/14/2025 Wednesday 5 to 6 PM, plenty of all the good things

Hey folks, despite the wetness and rain Farmer Luca will be open 5 to 6 this afternoon with lots of goodies, veggies and watermelon. Enjoy!

Red radishes with green tops
Ravishing Radishes – They grow faster than the bugs can keep up with! The crunchy bottoms can be eaten raw (peppery) or used as a root vegetable cooked (mild). The tops are more nutritious than the root, and can be used as salad or cooking greens. Some folks make smoothies with them! Don’t waste an inch of this mighty veggie! We love them sliced thin in oil and vinegar with a pinch of salt.

Plenty

  • Sweet mix
  • Cucumbers
  • French breakfast radishes
  • Long pink radishes with nice tops

Early birds

  • Watermelon
  • Papaya
  • Bunched arugula
  • Hot green and red peppers
  • Sweet frying peppers
  • Carrots with green tops
  • Scallions
  • Kale
  • Baby turmeric
  • Basil
  • Thai basil
  • Cilantro
  • Parsley
  • Dill
  • Kaffir leaves

First come first serve.

ARTfarm Wednesday PM: Shades of Green… 3/12/2025, 5 – 6 PM

Teen spicy mix harvested fresh at dawn, in your fridge next day! Keep the air out of the bag and these will last a long time, to eat straight, mix with other salad greens, use as a garnish or bed for an entrée, wilt in a dish for a slight pepper flavor…

Things are drying up a little bit. But for this mid-week stand, we’ll once again have an abundance of salad greens and more tomatoes and watermelon. Come see us tomorrow afternoon, and enjoy all the peak season deliciousness.

It will be first come first served Wednesday. As usual, if the crowd looks thick, Farmer Luca may ration some items so no one goes home empty handed.

4pm Sundays is getting established as a meetup time slot for volunteers. If you’d like to join our little group, give us a call or send a text or reach out through social media or email. If you are interested in learning more about sustainable, regenerative gardening practices — we would love some help in the gardens and with a few other tasks as well. Volunteers have always been crucial elements of our system.

If you have reached out to us about volunteering and we haven’t gotten back to you yet please be persistent. This is our busiest time of year. We could still use your help. Just reach out again!

No reservations; first come, first served. We recommend coming about halfway or later through the hour if you would like a shorter line. We really appreciate your support.

Watermelon is one of Luca’s favorite crops.

Plenty for All
