ARTfarm Back-to-School Bounty!

It’s back to school time, and what says “Go get ’em tiger!” better than some fresh figs in their lunch box?

Saturday morning at ARTfarm, 10am – 12 noon: Microgreens, baby arugula greens (special for you, Virgil!), sweet lettuce mix, cucumbers, Bodhi beans, sweet yellow corn, basil, recao, thyme, garlic chives, lemongrass, sweet potato greens, lots of figs, strawberry guavas, young fig trees, pineapple slips, papayas from Reuben, fresh breads from Tess, ice cream from I-Sha, Wanda’s raw local honey.


ARTfarm Wednesday 3-6pm: Cool and refreshing

Luca was up in the early cool this morning and picked for you: cucumbers, microgreens, sweet teen and spicy teen salad mixes, bunched arugula, garlic chives, recao, Mediterranean figs, lemongrass and Thai basil. Plus hearty loaves from Tess, papaya from Reuben, sweet mangoes and carambola from Alex and I-Sha’s vegan ice cream in local fruit flavors. Ahhhhh, a cucumber salad is like a dip in a cool swimming pool. Refreshing.

Summer Fruitfest at ARTfarm, 10 AM to 12 noon!

We are sleepy at ARTfarm this morning. We had to get up at 11 o’clock last night and go out and pollinate the dragonfruit. And one of our neighbor’s cows got out early early early this morning, and more are trying, so take it easy and enjoy the 35mph speed limit on South Shore Rd. please!

Saturday morning at ARTfarm: Lots of lettuce salad mix mixed with micro, lots of cucumbers, lots of papaya from Solitude Farm, microgreens, baby arugula, mangoes from Alex, three luscious dragonfruit from ARTfarm harvested this morning, recao, garlic chives, figs, breads and fresh baked bagels from Tess (they make incredible French toast, thanks for asking), local raw honey from Wanda at the Wright Apiary.



Fruity Saturday at ARTfarm


It’s officially mango season!! Today’s stand starts with a mélange of sweet and juicy local fruit: bananas from Reuben Liburd, Haitian kidney and Nam Duc Mai mangoes from Alex Ettienne, ARTfarm pineapples & papaya!! Microgreens, Kan-Kong (Asian spinach), sweet peppers, hot peppers, cherry tomatoes, pumpkin, beets, scallions, bok choi, Bodhi yard-long beans, garlic chives; italian, lemon, thai and holy basil;  lemongrass, zinnia flowers; native trees, and pineapple slips.

10am – 12 noon every Saturday. We are discontinuing Monday farmstands until next year. Wednesday hours are now 3-6pm! Thanks for your support.
