ARTfarm Saturday: Herbacious! 10am-12noon

Lots of tender younger greens and a large sampling of herbs today! Teen spicy salad mix, teen sweet salad mix, baby arugula, baby spicy mix; radishes, beets, white carrots, escarole, dandelion greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, soursop; zinnia flowers, Wanda’s honey. Herb garden haul: Recao (aka culantro, mexican coriander, shado beni), frilly cilantro, garlic chives, scallions, sage, dill, lemongrass, Italian basil, Thai basil, lemon basil, kefir leaves, kefir limes!

Sweet and spicy! ARTfarm 3-6pm today!

Fresh picked at ARTfarm this morning: Sweet mix, spicy mix, baby spicy mix, baby arugula, escarole, two kinds of dandelion greens, long beans, radishes, cilantro, dill, garlic chives, four kinds of basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, lemongrass, zinnia flowers, limited amounts of cherry tomatoes, lots of crispy delicious cucumbers in various special varieties. Wanda’s honey! Open today 3-6pm! Come and get it!!

Festive colors and gorgeous textures are a feast for the eyes and make a beautiful table. The flavors in ARTfarm’s spicy salad mix combine sweet and spicy, with pungent mustard greens that can stand up to a creamy textured dressing. YUM!

Oh yes! We have salad greens! Although, perhaps calling them ‘greens’ is a bit disingenuous as they come in a variety of colors and shades. We open at 10am and the three earliest early birds can purchase a teaser half pint of sweet cherry tomatoes to add even more color to their salad. Don’t forget the cucumbers in all their various sizes, shapes and textures! We could eat salad like that for every meal and snack of the day!

Saturday morning ARTfarmstand: we have microgreens, sweet salad mix, spicy salad mix, arugula, escarole, dandelion greens, basil in various flavors, garlic chives, dill, sage, lemongrass, cucumbers, beets, radishes and their delicious greens, honey, huge gorgeous zinnia flowers, and limited quantities of organically started tomato seedlings for sale! (For those less ambitious, but early today, our tomato season is starting with a half pint of cherry tomatoes available this morning, for the first lucky customer!)
