New Mangoes, Fresh Honey & Coconuts, New ART

20120606-121854.jpg

For today’s Wednesday 3-6 PM ARTfarmstand: we have humongous, delicious Kensington mangoes from the orchard out at Irene Lawaetz’s farm. Also mildly sweet, juicy and crunchy Malay apples – the pink, Caribbean answer to a pear.

Spicy microgreens, sweet salad mix, fresh honey, lemongrass, Italian basil, garlic chives, Kang-Kong Asian water spinach, bok choi, Bodhi purple yard long beans, Trinidadian Perfume seasoning peppers, chili peppers, sweet peppers, two varieties of local bananas; Julie, Nam Duc Mai and Haitian Kidney mangoes, and pineapples.

Even if you don’t need to shop, come out and sit in our breezy farmstand on one of the ARTfarm lounge chairs, and enjoy a freshly cut open coconut full of sweet coconut water, and enjoy the conversation.

In other ARTfarming news, we are VERY excited that Luca has started painting again! Soon come, a little mini show of brand-new works in the ARTbarn Gallery (yes, we have finally removed the beehive that was living in the wall)!!!

Love,
ARTfarmers
