Bananas from the ARTfarm garden, that is! You’ll rarely find a typo here, but often a bad pun! Strange things happen to your mind when you spend too much time weeding! Also today, 3-6pm: lots of figs, local honey, kefir limes, kefir leaves, lemongrass, Italian basil, Thai basil, holy basil, lemon basil, garlic chives, thyme, rosemary, recao, microgreens, baby greens, arugula, sweet mix, spicy mix, Chinese cabbage, dandelion greens, onions, cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes, lots of ice cream, bagels and bread. Come down to the South Shore this afternoon and keep Farmer Luca company!

Saturday’s haul: Sweet mix, spicy mix, baby greens, micro greens, Italian basil, Thai basil, holy basil, lemon basil, rosemary, thyme, recao (aka culantro, shadow benni), sage, garlic chives, cilantro, parsley, bell peppers, Chinese cabbage, red mustard, large arugula, cabbage, broccoli leaves, onions, two types of radishes, beets, lots of tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, figs, artisanal bread & bagels, local honey. Come and get it! 10am – 12 noon today!

The tomatoes are about as sweet as they can get at this time of year, so enjoy the tail end of our tomato season and rock some salsa for your weekend festivities! Luca’s secret is to throw in a few green ones with the ripe tomatoes to make your salsa have a little crunch to it. Shhh, don’t tell anyone, it’s our little secret.
