ARTfarm on St. Croix, USVI

Well, we said we were closing our farmstand for the rest of the summer on Wednesdays. But the fig trees did not get the memo! We have a lot of fresh figs that we are eager to distribute to hungry fig lovers!

So today, we will offer fresh organically grown ARTfarm figs in half pound, 1 pound, and 2 pound boxes. We will not be selling any other products today, just the figs from 5:30 to 6pm.

Figs are high in potassium and one of the fruits that is highest in fiber. It’s hard to believe, because they are so delicate and delicious. I have likened them to the flavor of a perfect sunrise, and I think that description still rings true.

(*If you can get a hold of either the Madagascar Vanilla, Soursop, or the Ginger Vanilla flavors from Jacky and Carole over at Jaccar Sorbet in Gallows Bay, and slice a bunch of fresh sweet figs on top of that creamy frozen perfection, you will be transported to another plane of existence. I can promise you from personal experience.)

Saturday morning at ARTfarm, August edition: Microgreens, cucumbers, Bodhi beans, garlic chives, recao, Thai basil, lots of fresh figs, dragon fruit!!! In the nursery, fig trees and native shade trees. From our partners: Mangoes and carambola from Tropical Exotics, papayas from Solitude Farm, vegan ice cream from I-Sha, raw honey from Wanda, bread and bagels from Tess!
