Ten-day-old baby chicks are curious about the camera! These heritage dual-purpose breeds will grow up to be great rainbow egg laying hens at ARTfarm!

Happy Spring y’all… things are getting dry… as food resources become less abundant in the landscape for wildlife, so pest control tasks increase.

No salad mix today, had to catch up on some other farm work this week! Lettuce heads are available! You get to spin your own greens!

We are looking for clean affordable mulch for the farm.

Mango Flowers, bring March Showers 3/19/2025… correction…

Slight correction…

Farmer Luca was so excited to see trees blooming that he wasn’t very clear when he communicated with me about mangoes. Sorry for the confusion, but the mango trees are blooming. There won’t be actual mangoes for sale tomorrow. But there will be in a few months! See you all tomorrow afternoon!

Our teen spicy salad mix at ARTfarm is a combination of peppery greens. They’re bigger than baby greens but still tender and not totally mature.
