We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! We are open today for our regular Saturday hours, 10 AM – 12 noon.

We’ll have lots of salad greens and cucumbers throughout the stand hours, and likely cherry tomatoes through the morning as well, so feel free to sleep in and join us later! Early birds will find slicer tomatoes, baby summer squash and sweet corn. 

Some dramatic clouds passed over the farm yesterday, dropping a little moisture.

Sweet salad mix, baby spicy, teen arugula, baby arugula, lettuce heads;

Three types of kale, dandelion,  green and yellow summer squash, slicing cucumbers, wild cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, a few tomato slicers, a small amount of sweet corn, perhaps a few carrots;

Hunting wild cucumbers is a popular holiday pastime at ARTfarm.

Italian basil, lemon basil, holy basil, garlic chives, tarragon, recao, rosemary, lemongrass, Serrano hot peppers;

Pineapple slips and moringa trees for sale. Zinnia flowers! Local raw honey.

Baby! Baby arugula, Baby!

Lots of beautiful things for your holiday table at ARTfarm this afternoon! Come down the South Shore and enjoy this beautiful day.

We have plenty of beautiful fresh sweet salad mix, baby and teen arugula and spicy salad greens, and oak leaf lettuce heads;

Freshly harvested garlic chives, lemongrass, rosemary, recao, and lemon, Italian, Thai and holy basils;

Ethiopian, dinosaur and purple kale; wild pickling gherkins (click for recipe, halfway down the page) and beautifully domesticated slicing cucumbers, zucchinis and squashes (click for recipes and suggestions), and fresh eggs from Yellow Door Farm.

Early birds may experience: fresh Mediterranean figs, zinnia flowers and a few cherry and slicer tomatoes.

Special guest Ms. Wanda will have beautiful gift boxes of Crucian Mead samplers!

We will be open again on Saturday, December 26. We should have sweet corn, more tomatoes, and a few other additions to the lineup for Saturday.

ARTfarm Open Wednesday, December 23rd, 3–6 p.m. Merry Merry!

The farmstand will be open 3–6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23rd for your holiday table.  

We love seeing these little green grinches around the farm at Christmas time! Praying mantises are a major part of our pest control methods at ARTfarm!

Is there any part of St. Croix that double rainbow didn’t visit on Thursday afternoon? Touchdown at ARTfarm!
 
Good morning, wonderful customers!We’ve got lots of beautiful fresh salad greens in many sizes and flavors today, beautiful cooking greens for raw or cooked consumption; and a few flavor delights such as figs , serranos and cherry tomatoes for early birds. 

Farm fresh eggs from Yellow Door Farm this morning, each dozen featuring a beautiful rainbow of colors; 

And the return of Wanda the wonderful honey lady, with her handcrafted Crucian Meads. She’s got a few beautiful little gift boxes with samplers in the various local fruit flavors that she concocts, beautifully packaged, and always with a friendly smile and vibe. She’s happy to fill custom orders for the holidays! If you’ve got a bit of the holiday sniffle, they make wonderful hot toddys at bedtime! Stop by her table!
