The cool and breezy winter weather always seems to give the plants a big boost. We had a huge salad green harvest today! New to the lineup is a romaine salad mix, so get your Caesar dressing recipe ready.
Sweet salad mix, romaine salad mix, baby arugula, baby spicy mesclun mix, cucumbers, sweet corn, cherry tomatoes, a few slicing tomatoes, loads of cooking greens, scallions, onions, radishes, sweet potato, Italian basil, lemon basil, holy basil, cilantro, dill, garlic chives, recao, parsley, escarole, dandelion greens, a few heads of lettuce, serrano peppers and sweet bell peppers, passionfruit, papaya, a few figs, beautiful baby ginger, and fresh cut zinnias and sunflowers!Last but not least we’ll have watermelons. Mostly the red ones, not as much as we’ve had lately but still a fair amount.
Thanks for your continued support! We will be open this Saturday, New Year’s Eve, from 10 AM to 12 noon.
