Watermelon, Greens & MORE Greens

A large patch of melon vines stretches from a patch of pink wildflowers in the foreground across a large field to a chicken coop in the distance and the hills and sky beyond.
The melon patch is taking over the farm. We also planted lots of flowers to attract bees this season.
It’s a recount: we will have more salad greens this week than last week. Production is ramping up!

Saturday 10am to 12 noon: Super fresh sweet salad mix, baby arugula, teen arugula, baby spicy salad mix, teen spicy salad mix, loads of yellow fleshed and red fleshed watermelons, tender crunchy cucumbers, radishes, a few sweet potatoes, lots of cooking greens like kale and collards, dandelion greens, Ethiopian kale, escarole, the beginning of our red onions, garlic chives, Italian basil, Thai basil, lemon basil, holy basil, recao, lemongrass, and a few passionfruit and papayas!

Yellow Door Farm will have eggplant, butternut, Swiss chard, poblano peppers and beets.

Fiddlewood Farms should be back in production next week! So much to look forward to!
