Red Violin Tomatoes at ARTfarm today! 3–6 p.m.

While these incredible tomatoes resemble Elizabeth Pitcairn’s beautiful Stradivarius, they will not set you back seven figures! 20140113-134445.jpg
Today’s afternoon farmstand: microgreens, sweet salad mix, lots and lots of plentiful slicer tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes in every color of the rainbow except perhaps blue, cherry tomatoes, beautiful carrots, onions with gigundous green edible tops, purple yard long beans, the usual plethora of fresh herbs including cilantro, basil, garlic chives and more; and Mediterranean figs for dessert.

  1. I’ve just come home and escaped the New England winter. Won’t go back there till it is done and gone! We really enjoyed the sweet potatoes. They were far superior to what would have been available in the markets in Massachusetts. The skin was tender, the flesh was moist but not gummy and they were easy to cook in the microwave. We are looking forward to the next few months in St.Croix and to enjoying all that the ArtFarm has to offer.
