ARTfarm Wednesday 3-6pm

Come south to our little oasis after work this afternoon and beat the Saturday crowds: Sweet salad mix, baby spicy salad mix, baby arugula, cucumbers, lots of tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, last of the sweet corn, Italian basil, kale, radishes, beets, escarole, dandelion greens, chili peppers, dill, cilantro, parsley, garlic chives, mint, recao (culantro) and zinnia flowers. All organically grown with rainwater irrigation.

Monday 3-6, MLKJR Day

Happy birthday to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose commitment to justice made so much possible. May his memory inspire everyone’s Day of Service. Selma is still playing at Sunny Isle through Wednesday.

Today, 3-6pm: Sweet salad mix, baby spicy salad mix, microgreens, arugula, dandelion greens, cucumbers, loads of tomatoes all types, cherry tomatoes, radishes, Italian basil, holy (tulsi) basil, garlic chives, mint, dill, recao, escarole, lettuce heads, small quantities of sweet corn, zinnia flowers.

From our partners we have vegan ice cream, a perfect little afternoon treat from I-Sha. Coconut is good for you!IMG_7633.JPGBeneficial lacewings drying out from heavy dew on seeding hurricane grass. Lacewing eggs look like tiny threads with white dots suspended from them and can be found on any grass-like structure, including the laundry line.

For today’s afternoon stand we have a plethora of delicious, tradewind cooled produce for you: Sweet salad mix, spicy salad mix, arugula, microgreens, cucumbers, loads of tomatoes all types, cherry tomatoes, Italian basil, beets, radishes, cilantro, mint, chives, dill, assorted chili peppers, kale, escarole, holy basil, lemon basil, lemongrass, lettuce heads, passionfruit, and zinnia flowers. Last chance to buy cherry tomato plants!

It’s been broughten! ARTfarm has finally got buckets of CHERRY tomatoes available. Even if you 9 to 5 workers come between 5:30 and 6 PM, we will still have cherry tomatoes and sweet mix for you today! That is a promise from Farmer Luca!IMG_7744.JPG
