ARTfarm Wednesday afternoon stand: Sweet salad mix, teen arugula, spicy salad mix, microgreens, escarole, kale, cucumbers, beets, radishes, scallions, Italian basil, cilantro, parsley, dill, garlic chives, lemongrass, passionfruit, long beans, zinnia flowers, and loads of tomatoes: cherry tomatoes and all types of larger tomatoes! From our partner I-Sha, vegan ice cream in a multitude of local fruit flavors – we are starting to run a little low on spoons, so if you’ve borrowed one or two of ours, please bring us back one or two!

Lettuce tell you about today’s harvest: sweet salad mix, teen spicy salad mix, baby arugula, and microgreens. Over in the tomato department we’ve got lovely heirlooms, paste tomatoes, slicers, and a few types of cherries! The veggie aisle at ARTfarm has crispy cucumbers, poetic beets, crunchy radishes, early bird sweet corn for the first few customers, lettuce heads, escarole, sweet peppers, assorted chili peppers, kale; the herb garden offers Italian basil, holy basil, lemon basil, dill, cilantro, parsley, garlic chives, recao, mint, lemongrass, and tender young ginger root. In fruit and home decor we’ve got gorgeous bright zinnia flowers and tangy passionfruit.

In the frozen section you’ll find I-Sha’s homemade vegan all-local coconut based, miraculously creamy non-dairy ICE CREAM in far-out local flavors from avocado to beet-ginger to locust bean to soursop. Always fun to see what Feel-I has come up with next!

We had a great visit from a former ARTfarm employee over the holidays and she managed to put in a few hours helping us out! We named a key garden after Maria years ago so it’s kind of like she never left! IMG_7710.JPG

It’s a Wednesday that feels like a Monday. We are open 3–6 p.m. today, and the theme is tomatoes, crazy tomatoes!IMG_7630.JPG

Also: sweet salad mix, spicy salad mix, arugula, microgreens, sweet corn, cucumbers, loads of cherry tomatoes, lots of slicing and heirloom tomatoes, radishes, escarole, kale, lettuce heads, cilantro, dill, mint, basil, lemongrass, chili peppers, passionfruit, and zinnia flowers.

For our gardening friends, we are offering beautiful starts: cherry tomato seedlings and pineapple slips!

From our farm partner I-Sha today: all natural, locally collected ingredients, coconut creamy vegan ice cream in quickly disappearing flavors: banana, soursop, and beet-ginger!

ARTfarm Post-Thanksgiving Salad Celebration

There is ALWAYS room for salad. ARTfarm Saturday morning, 10am – 12 noon: Sweet salad mix, microgreens, baby arugula, baby spicy salad mix, cucumbers, radishes, garlic chives, mint, recao, Italian basil, lemongrass, passionfruit, zinnia flowers and vegetable starts including tomatoes and basils.

From our partners we have vegan fruity ice cream from I-Sha, mangoes from Tropical Exotics, lovely avocados from a friend… and the fishmongers Kim & Ryan will be here again with fresh filets!
