ARTfarm open for MLK Day! Much respect!

We dedicate our work today to the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his message of peaceful change and common ground.

We are open today… the plants never take a holiday. 3-6pm on the south shore: Microgreens, arugula, sweet mix, baby spicy mix, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, big slicer tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, yard-long purple beans, fresh bulb onions with green tops, kale, broccoli leaves, garlic chives, cilantro, dill, basil, sage, fresh-cut flowers, local honey, fresh Mediterranean figs. All grown with just rainwater and homemade soil amendments. No chemicals, no GMO’s.

Wednesday ARTfarm stand – onions and pumpkin! 3pm!

Today we are cutting into a 32lb. PUMPKIN! We have beautiful organically grown ONIONS for your soup! Also gazillions of tomatoes (slicers, heirlooms and cherries), cucumbers, arugula, sweet bell peppers, purple long beans, fennel, kale, collards, broccoli leaves, chinese cabbage, endive, escarole, dandelion greens, scallions, cayenne peppers, garlic chives, cilantro, parsley, sage, dill, Italian basil, lemon basil, Thai basil, holy basil, lemongrass. Supply on salad greens is very low this week but will recover shortly. Fresh cut zinnias and sunflowers, and charming little edible flowers for your valentine treat!

Someone posted on Facebook that they love to roll up our giant broccoli leaves and slice them thin like spaghetti before sautéing. Sounds yummy to us!
