ARTfarm Saturday morning! Asparagus for one lucky customer

Did it rain by you guys? Open today, 10 AM to 12 noon: Microgreens, arugula, salad mixes, lettuce heads, recao, garlic chives, thyme, sage, lemongrass, four kinds of basil, dill, mint, radishes, purple yard long (bodhi) beans, cucumbers, papayas, mangoes, zinnia flowers, native trees, sweet potatoes, sweet potato greens, and one beautiful young and tender bunch of asparagus. Winter fun!!

Hey folks! Happy Thanksgiving! Just for fun, here’s a shot of four of our five young heritage breed turkeys, all of whom will be spared this season to create future generations: 20131127-143210.jpg

So for today’s farmstand for your holiday table, we’ve got: mint, lettuce heads, papayas, soursop, fresh figs, microgreens, sweet salad mix, spicy salad mix, bagged arugula, four basils, mint, recao, sage, rosemary, chives, lemongrass, sweet potatoes, Bodhi (red yard-long) beans, cucumbers, radishes, sweet potato greens, kan kon (Asian water spinach) greens, Chinese cabbage, vegan local fruit ice cream from Feel I, local dark honey from Errol, and zinnia flowers. Potted fig trees, St. Croix agaves, and native trees are also available.

Luca’s Psychic Powers

Luca has looked into the future and consulted with the soil, and this is what he predicts: The ARTfarm will open Saturday, November 16th, 10am – 12 noon. We will have microgreens, baby arugula, teen lettuce mix, basils, recao, sage, rosemary, chives, lemongrass, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, radishes, sweet potato greens, kan kon (Asian water spinach) greens, fig trees, fresh figs, and zinnia flowers. We’ll be open rain or shine (weather predictions are beyond Luca’s mystical powers).

We’re still growing you a bit more food (and art) before starting back up with our farmstands again. We anticipate reopening in early November. Enjoy a safe and fun Halloween!
