Today’s Summer Saturday ARTfarm stand, 10 AM – 12 noon: Microgreens, mildly spicy salad mix, baby arugula, nonorganic cucumbers from Dennis Nash, pumpkin, bok choi from Leslie, lots of mangoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, the last of the cherry tomatoes, pineapples, lots of bananas, fresh-cut to order coconut water, fresh local raw honey, garlic chives, lemongrass, and basil.
For today’s Wednesday 3-6 PM ARTfarmstand: we have humongous, delicious Kensington mangoes from the orchard out at Irene Lawaetz’s farm. Also mildly sweet, juicy and crunchy Malay apples – the pink, Caribbean answer to a pear.
Spicy microgreens, sweet salad mix, fresh honey, lemongrass, Italian basil, garlic chives, Kang-Kong Asian water spinach, bok choi, Bodhi purple yard long beans, Trinidadian Perfume seasoning peppers, chili peppers, sweet peppers, two varieties of local bananas; Julie, Nam Duc Mai and Haitian Kidney mangoes, and pineapples.
Even if you don’t need to shop, come out and sit in our breezy farmstand on one of the ARTfarm lounge chairs, and enjoy a freshly cut open coconut full of sweet coconut water, and enjoy the conversation.
