ARTfarm Winter Morning Farmstand

The lettuce heads are loving all the cool wind and sudden overnight rain showers this winter.
Big sunflowers in late afternoon, watching over the lettuce rows.
We planted lots of wildflower mixes to attract bees this season and they are just starting to put up some wonderfully diverse blooms.
Katie, James and Luca produced a mountain of salad greens for your Saturday morning selection. This cool weather is when the salad greens taste their absolute sweetest. Open at 10 AM, first come first served:

Check the big cooler for sweet salad mix, Romaine salad mix, baby arugula, teen arugula, baby spicy mix, and teen spicy mix.
Lots of beautiful healthy veggies and herbs at this time of year. Choose from a variety of colors and flavors: carrots, the last of this set of sweet corn, big beautiful watermelons of all types, a few sweet papayas, tender baby ginger, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, a few slicing and heirloom tomatoes, cooking greens including different types of kale and collard greens, escarole, dandelion greens, radishes, onions, scallions, garlic chives, cilantro, parsley, recao, dill, Italian basil, lemon basil, Thai basil, holy basil, green Serrano peppers, green hot Indian chilies, a few sweet bell peppers, and lots of cut flowers: zinnias and sunflowers and a few wild flowers too!

Don’t forget the Joy this season

Sometimes in all the hustle and bustle, we forget to celebrate Joy. Our ARTfarm family appreciates  the Joy in our lives and we always love and welcome JOY!

There will be more sweet corn available today than originally predicted, and there will be quite a bit on Wednesday. For all you early birds, please note that Ms. Jeffers got here at 2 o’clock today. Jus’ sayin’!!
