As of winter 2026, we have stopped our farmshares and preorders. We had started a ‘farmshare’ program during the COVID pandemic in 2020, with online reservations and staggered pickup times of ten people or less, primarily on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and it was so popular we kept it going for a couple of years. But we are back to regular first-come, first-serve farmstands at the farm, which generally occur on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mid-mornings. Check our homepage for the latest few listings of those stands and what the harvest lists will be! This will be posted on our Facebook page and to our email list. You can sign up on this website for the email list to receive those (and all) farmstand notifications.
During high season, typically Nov – April, we will be open Wednesday afternoons, 4:30-5:30 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM. As prior to the pandemic, these are open, first come first served hours but typically a line of customers forms – a great time to catch up with other locavores! In low season, typically May – October, we move to a pop-up farmstand model where we wait until we have a flush of rain, a good harvest of fruit or other summer seasonal treats and then post to our website/email list a day or so beforehand. At that point, crowds are much smaller. Our hours are limited because everything is picked fresh and we generally sell out of produce quickly.
We are usually always here at the farm, working on fine art goals, farm maintenance, homeschooling, conservation projects and (yes, still!) hurricane recovery projects following the devastation of Hurricane Maria in 2017.
Our farmstand is located on our farm, which is on the south side of South Shore Rd. (Rt. 62) of St. Croix, East of Hapenny beach and west of the Boy Scout camp and Great Pond Bay, at the junction of Rt. 85 (Spring Gut Road) and the South Shore Rd. As the crow flies, we are due south of Christiansted. We have a large sign along the road that says ARTfarm, with some other signs describing some of the current seasonal produce we offer.
If you prefer paper maps, we are listed on the free St. Croix This Week magazine map. On the St. Croix Pocket Map, we are along the south shore of the island below Christiansted. These publications are free and widely distributed around the island.
