Season’s greetings! Wednesday January 10th 2024, we will open in the afternoon with our sweet mix, baby spicy salad mix and baby arugula, plus cucumbers, summer squash, cherry tomatoes, assorted hot peppers, radishes, cilantro, dill, basils, baby ginger and baby turmeric, and more goodies. We will send out another email with sign-ups for time slots the day before.

We plan to resume our pandemic-derived online timeslot reservation system this season, as it seems to be both a crowd tamer and crowd pleaser. So keep an eye out January 9 for that email with a signup link!

If crops come in sooner we will pop-up with a quick farmstand.

We started seeding later than usual this season, due to the extreme heat and drought that started in June and continued into October.

Crops are looking very strong right now. The weather is cooler. Tomatoes are setting abundantly.

Farm and garden volunteers are still needed. We have both meditative volunteering and/or cardio/workout volunteering possibilities. Call or email us! Non-smokers/non-vapers/non-tobacco users please.

“I started volunteering at ARTfarm as a way to give back to my community and feel connection to the land… I help with a variety of projects, from weeding and digging up ginger root, to construction. The “work” never seemed like work to me, and I left with a sense of satisfaction from being able to see what I had created at the end of each volunteer session… I know I am helping progress towards a measurable and achievable goal.

Luca is a patient and thorough mentor, and I have learned a great deal about farming and myself in the short time I have been a volunteer with ARTfarm. I work behind a computer for most of my job, and volunteering on the farm lets me tap into a sense of belonging, reward, and connection that I might not feel otherwise.”

We are also in need of a vinyl sheet flooring specialist to help us install the new waterproof floor into our new processing center. If ya have an experienced lead, please send them our way!

Thanks to all who came out for our ARTfarm family ART exhibition”Hope For the Future” at Studio Walsh gallery in Peters Rest in early-mid December.

Looking forward to seeing you! Thank you so much.

Love, ARTfarmily
