Heavy basketloads of fresh ripe dragonfruits at ARTfarm

Farmer Luca will greet you Saturday to provide lots of sweet summer salad mix, lots of red (inside and out) dragonfruit, and for the early birds we’ll have a few fresh pineapples, small amounts of Thai mangoes and sweet papaya. Also available: lots of ginger and turmeric, plus seasoning peppers, baby bok Choi, garlic chives, lemongrass, and kaffir leaves… and Pineapple slips (baby pineapple plants for growing your own pineapple). (Text ahead if you want more than half a dozen pine slips so we can prep them for you, they are $2-4 per plant depending on size.)

Farmer Luca swore the ginger and turmeric were done last month but then he discovered a forgotten patch while planting out next year‘s crop. So we have some beautiful freshly harvested ginger and turmeric, surprise!

We look forward to seeing you — once again please, from the bridge of your nose to your beautiful forehead! We are still wearing masks and require that you do the same during our transactions. Kindly please maintain social distancing in the line, as everyone has their own comfort (and immune) level. You are awesome!

SOLD OUT Saturday March 14th. Orders must be confirmed by email from us!

Good morning ARTfarm supporters, we are completely sold out of box shares for Saturday March 14th 2020 and already have a pretty long waiting list. Sorry if we were not able to help you today.

If you have not received an email from us with an order number, that means that we cannot fill your order, even if you placed one online yesterday. If you do not have an email with an order number, please do not come to the farm today. The whole point is to limit contact to keep us all safe and healthy.

Feel free to sign up for emails on our website to be informed if we are able to provide the ‘box’ service again. It is starting to be the end of the season and, as usual, we are going to have less and less produce at this time of year.

We are truly sorry that the sign-up process was not clear. We did not have a plan in place for coronavirus and we did our best but it was a pretty slapdash order system that needs improvement. Our apologies if you found it confusing or if we left you empty-handed today.

Thanks everyone! Stay safe and stay healthy and try to stay home if you can.

Saturday 10am – 12 noon, Cukes & Watermelon

Sorry for the late notice! We just got in from transplanting more lettuce and some scallions for you folks by flashlight!!

Yes we will be open tomorrow (Saturday) December 1st for our regular Saturday hours, 10am – 12 noon.

You want the good news first or the bad news?

Good news: we have in the morning for ya: good quantities of three kinds of watermelon (including a yellow one!), TONS of delicious cucumbers (two kinds), butternut squash, a few bags of baby arugula and baby spicy salad mix, spicy radishes (become completely mild when cooked), turnip greens, Italian basil, lemon basil, Thai basil, garlic chives, dill, small amounts of cilantro, rosemary, lemongrass, holy basil, cheerful cut zinnia flowers, pineapple plants, and native trees

Bad news: lots of our lettuce is still too small after all the caterpillar carnage and rain damage, so no sweet mix until next week, probably Wednesday.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you in the morning!
